From a practical point of view, it seemed to him that having Cassandra (he knew he was going to have a daughter... and her name... he just didn't know how he knew...) whilst the other children in his life were still youngsters would be better than her growing up alone...
Of course, she'd be able to make friends, the daughter of a multi-millionare was certain to make friends, but maybe it would be better for her to have 'family friends' close to her own age as well...
So, that was settled. Now, all John had to do was make it happen...
