She was born in Wisconsin, but has spent most of her life near Seattle where she's raised two fantastic daughters, Erika and Melody, and several Siamese cats. Recently she took a page from the books she loves and married her high school sweetheart after a thirty-year separation. They live in a town home with a view of Mount Rainier.
