Autorenporträt
The German-born author came to London in 1962. She got married the same year and immediately moved to Hong Kong with her Chinese husband. When she returned to London after six years, she soon separated from him. Becoming a student again, she embarked on a course of German literature at the University of London. It was during her Masters degree course that she began to write poetry again and to take up teaching as a career. Her publications include two books of German poetry published in Aachen/ Germany, ¿Transforming the Moment¿, a book of poems and prayers and the children¿s story ¿Framed¿. She has been part of the World Community of Christian Meditation (WCCM) for many years, and her poems in her book ¿Transforming the Moment¿ grew out of her regular practice of meditation. Prior to that, she studied the ideas of G.I. Gurdjieff in a more practical way under the tutelage of a teacher who left a lasting influence on her life. www.margritdahm.com
