Gillie Haynes is a professor of public speaking at American University in Washington, DC. She also teaches graduate and undergraduate communication courses at the Catholic University of America, also in Washington, DC. As the founder of her own coaching practice, Simply Speaking, Gillie uses her gifts to help others master the art of clear, concise, confident public speaking. Her first book, Sounds like a Poem to Me, was published in 2012.
