The Census Villages geography measures local activity and global consequences at an overall optimal geography. Synchronized with bottom up utility and vehicles figures Statistics Canada's housing, transportation, and income data allow footprint quantification across a wide range of scales. Perhaps most importantly, the Ecological Footprint overshoot contextualizes the scope of urban regions impact on global sustainability issues such as climate change. The current status of overconsumption challenges those sitting at the policy planners' decision making tables to act on proven solutions.

Autorenporträt
My writing career began with an academic thesis on social justice, and I have published academic papers. With time, however, I have come to realize my preference for facts based speculative fiction. Although I published one last academic paper (2023) on our planetary overshoot, I have over the interim before shifted focus onto a science researched climate crisis series. Projecting no more than two decades into our near future, I dramatize events with true possibilities of playing out in our real world.
