A well-mixed cocktail can make or break a date, impress new friends and elevate a casual business meeting to new levels, as a bartender for the last 25 years in the city of New Orleans, one thing I have learned is that a great cocktail, means you'll attract a great crowd of guests, many of whom will return week after week to get their favorite cocktail made, by you.
A bar is an amazing place to spend your time, whether early morning, for a freshly made Bloody Mary, late afternoon for a relaxing Cosmopolitan or throughout the evening for shooters and shots, bars have something for everybody but, they can become tiresome after a while.
One way to beat the boredom of a local home bar, or even the cost of regularly visiting a bar for your favorite cocktail is to make them at home and, although it may seem like your favorite local bartender is well versed in making fancy cocktails for you, they are really simple enough that you can make them at home to enjoy with friends and family members, while showing off your cocktail making skills!
