Chances Are is a story about second chances, and taking chances when it seems life is hardly worth living. Tragedy doesn't necessarily mean the end of everything. Sometimes you have to dig deep to find the strength to carry on and be grateful for what you had and what is left. But the effort can be so worth it. This story takes place in Texas, the home of the author, Edward L. White, who has lived and worked in the Houston area for over 30 years.
