It's 1983, and a 'rough around the edges' rugby player from Philadelphia named Lucas McQue, better known as Q, returns to Monaghan University in Milwaukee for his final year (hopefully).

When it comes to women, he bounces from one lady to the next. Q is a short term commitment guy. All of his relationships eventually fizzle out and he never falls in love. Until he meets Lyn, an extremely gorgeous and talented Math major; however, people in Lyn's inner circle believe Q is a lowlife, undeserving of her, and plot to remove him from the scene.

The Cheeserville story includes a large cast of intertwining and entertaining characters (including dogs). One character, in particular, blows Q's mind!

Chris Cahill is a pseudonym for a college mathematics professor in southern Wisconsin. Chris enjoys activities related to health and wellness as well as cats, the beach, and the pursuit of the ultimate overnight oats recipe. Chris is also an avid fan of Wheel of Fortune and watches it every evening without fail, as well as Days of Our Lives, which still has some of the same characters as it did in the 1980's when Chris first started watching. Current interests include rereading the Sweet Valley High books from Chris' childhood (Team Jessica or Team Elizabeth?)
