Naser M. Al-Tamimi is a Middle East analyst with particular research interests in energy politics and the political economy of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and Middle East-Asia relations. He has carried out extensive research on various aspects of Saudi-China relations. In addition, he is also a UK-based independent political consultant and journalist. He has written and edited several articles and books, in Arabic and English, on the most pertinent political and economic issues affecting the Middle East. Naser Al-Tamimi holds a PhD degree in Government and International Relations from Durham University, UK.
