Jill Smart has taught children for 28 years in Michigan, Iowa, and Kansas. She has instructed in the fields of Secondary Science and Health for the majority of her career. A life-long and driven learner herself, she earned a Master of Arts in Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Spring Arbor University in 2012. Compassionate and goal oriented, Jill believes anything is achievable if you put forth the effort and recognize the consequences of your actions. You are responsible for your destiny! As an author and teacher it is her mission to convey this message to young minds.Jill retired from teaching in the classroom in 2016 and is passionate about education, reading, nature and random acts of kindness. She has been married to her best friend, Don, for 30 years. The couple reside in Michigan and have two daughters. They also recently became grandparents.
