I was Br. James in a Benedictine Monastery; hence, the pen name James Benedict. I graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with an engineer's license, BS degree and officer's commission. After the sea and monastery, I enjoyed working for International Paper for thirty-four years. Presently, I am retired and enjoying my grandchildren. Major proceeds from this book go to charity.
