Each of us is also a part of the whole - actually many wholes: family, community, society, and the planet Earth. As such, we have both rights and obligations. This essay offers my reflections on those rights and obligations.

Marty Price: I am a poet and a retired Literature Instructor, long employed as the latter by Mississippi State University. My poetry and ghost stories can be found in a few self-published books and on Facebook, as I choose to publish a light poem each day.
