This poetry book, with photos at the end of the book, is considered a Seattle production, even though some of the poems may have been put together in other cities. These are poems inspired by faith in the Hebrew Messiah, set out according to the greatest calendar in the world, a calendar which has the following months: Nisan, Iyar, Sivan, Tammuz, Av, Elul, Tishri, Cheshvan, Kislev, Tevet, Sh'vat, Adar (which becomes Adar 2 in leap years), and Adar 1. The list of months herein is an homage to the Hebrew calendar; the poems framed by those months were not intended to connect to the meaning of the months. In constructing this book the author thought it was fitting for the poems to be nestled as a Gentile parashah per month: sort of like the portion readings found in the carnal shuln. Perhaps, in a mystical way, the lover of Zion will find that the poems do connect to the spirituality of the lunar calendar embraced by God's Chosen People.
