Elisient Maeve Vernon worked alongside her pastor husband, Rev. Samuel H. Vernon, in small family churches in Panama, the Caribbean, Canada, and the USA. She has written several seasonal plays (adapting them to small or large stages) to suit each congregation. These plays have not only drawn the actors closer together but have impacted the audiences in positive ways. Elisient now resides with her husband of sixty-five years in Miami, Florida.
