Autorenporträt
T. Joel Fairley is a retired American Baptist Pastor, Artist, former Actor, Director, School Teacher, and Children's Pastor. He is a graduate of Judson University, in Elgin Illinois and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Eastern Baptist Seminary, in Philadelphia. Influences for Mr. Fairley in Children's Literature include, Hilary Knight, A.A. Milne, and CS Lewis, among others. As a visual artist and he adapts a whimsical, illustrative style into his art, and stories which is intended to create a sense of wonder for the observer, and he likes color, lots, and lots of color. Although he has written many stories, scripts and parables, for children and adults, 'Fall of the DawnStar' is Mr Fairley's first Novel, and 'Christmas Tails' his first published Children's book. Joel and his wife Sue share five children, and eight grand children, and currently live in the Bay Area of Northern California, with their dogs Katie and Scoutie.
