Autorenporträt
Eileen Bermudez Jackson is a mother of two, grandmother of five; and blessed with three additional children through a second marriage. Eileen is a new writer who began working for Centralia School District as Noon Rec Supervisor in 1997, and became a School Bus Driver in 2007. Her works include: "Song Bird", "That Big Fat Cat!", and "Christopher's Thousand Years"; each story is a lesson for the heart. Her inspiration comes from children, and her drive to encourage young authors to "believe" they can achieve anything they put their mind to. Mr. Fairchild is a school teacher, who appears as a character in her story books . In 2015, Mr. Fairchild invited Mrs. Jackson to be a volunteer for "Reading Across America". Mr. Fairchild has continued to invite Eileen to be a storyteller for his class, ever since she shared a self-made book, entitled: "Song Bird". This book is dedicated to Mr. Fairchild. Thank you for encouraging me to continue my writing. I also want to thank Mrs. O'dea who showed unwavering support for me and my drawings.
