Part One, Learning Curve, introduces the reader to Han Storm as he awakens to his metaphysical abilities. Han initially joins the New Haven Security Forces in solving crimes with his developing skills. Little did Han know what awesome Space adventures Destiny had in store for him.
It revolves around the first person, the 'I' or 'ego'. The wants and needs of the individual and there are a lot of 'I' in this section. This is where we all start with our lives. I, me and mine.
But at some point this is no longer enough and we have to grow up, realizing that we cannot exist in a physical world with only ourselves, with only the 'I' for the 'I' becomes lonely in life. This is also an unsure time, where one must choose where you wish to go with your life or the choice will be made for you by destiny or other people. This is the time in your life when you need to start using your skills and inherent gifts.

The Chronicles of Han is a series of books that came about after NDE experiences. In 2004 the Author of Chronicles of Han Storm was caught up in a cooking oil explosion, sustaining third degree burns to 35% of her body including her face and both hands. She twice went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated by the emergency personnel. It took quite a while for her to get back to functionality, with healing, physiotherapy and two small children to contend with (her baby was seven weeks old when the accident occurred.)
In 2008, after the scarring finally started to heal with the products her husband had developed for her, he gave her a laptop, encouraging her to stop saying that she would one day like to write a book and actually do it.
