It includes three main chapters. The first chapter gives the reader an idea about the composition of the human psychological system according to Freud's new theory that he called for in the year 1923, which is the theory that distinguishes in the psychological system between three organizations: the unconscious, feeling, and conscience. The second chapter of this chapter explains the most important means to which the unconscious resorts to express its contents and vent its repressed desires. The second chapter examines mental illnesses in terms of their causes, theories, types, and the most important differences between them and mental illnesses. The third chapter is devoted to mental illnesses: their definition, causes and types, with a topic devoted to alcohol and another to drugs. The author calculated that the book would be the first of its kind in this field.
