The sixth volume of the CLAREP Journal of English and Linguistics (C-JEL 6) features twelve high-quality papers in Applied Linguistics and Literary Studies. The conference drew contributions from both African and non-African scholars engaged in African linguistics research, each exploring speci¿c aspects of African linguistics and highlighting existing challenges in empirical research and offering insightful recommendations. The Centre for Language Research and English Pröciency (CLAREP) is an educational non-governmental, non-pröt organisation dedicated to advancing language research in Africa and promoting the pröcient use of language in all its spheres.
