Then entranced, then possessed with an incredible connection with the personality of each sculpture, then convinced that there is an entity trapped within each sculpture..." From the Challenging Destiny review by James Schellenberg.

Schellenberg says of the stories in this collection, using Claude as an example: "I liked these stories a great deal. In particular, Wolf does a good job with endings. Since we get a lot of detail about the internal life of the characters, the structure that leads to the ending is most often an epiphany, a moment where all those internal musings or developments come together in a rush, like a plateau before the next ascent begins. Not an "I feel ripped off" artsy ending, but an artsy ending that the story is nicely tailored for." http://www.challengingdestiny.com/reviews/findingcreatures.htm

Autorenporträt
I moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Vancouver in 1967; hence the prairie roots and the temperate rainforest stem. I write occasional poems and speculative fiction stories, my most recent publication being "Posture of the Infinite" in Canadian Tales of the Fantastic Vol. IV (Red Tuque Books, 2014). I have an abiding interest in the Celts, and practice Buddhism in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. My single author collection Finding Creatures & Other Stories was published by Wattle and Daub Books in 2008. I'll add more stories to Smashwords as I get the chance.
