Tom Jackson is a leading science writer who has over twenty years of experience writing books, magazine, and newspaper articles, as well as pieces for online and for television. He writes about a wide range of subjects, but his specialties are natural history, technology, and all things scientific. Previous projects include collaborations with Sir Patrick Moore, Carol Vorderman, and "rock star" scientist, Brian May.

Cristina Guitian is an illustrator living and working in London, England. Her distinct style of hand-drawn characters and typography creates surreal worlds filled with hybrid creatures that won her a Bronze Award, Best of British illustration in 2009. Cristina has also created installations for Victoria Revealed, a permanent exhibition at Kensington Palace, London, and has been featured in the prestigious D&DA Annual.
