The climate factor is an important element of the natural elements that make up the geographical environment. It is to it that human activity in various parts of the world is attributed, and on it many aspects of life that creep on the face of the Earth depend. Geographers have realized the value of this factor, so they turned towards it, studying its conditions and assessing its effects. Professor Miller is considered to be at the forefront of those concerned with climate studies, and who have made successful efforts in this area of ¿¿study. His book on "climate science", which he published in the English language, is considered an argument for his subject. It is a major reference point that geographers rely on. As we present this book in an Arabic guise, the translator - who is one of the specialists in this science - took great care to be proficient and perfect in transferring Miller's opinions into Arabic with care and honesty, and he sought to highlight the geographical aspect of the study, and to ignore some of what was reported from it.
