Colonel (Retired) Larry C. James PhD, is the Chief of Behavioral Medicine Service at the Tripler Army Medical Center Hawaii and is the former Dean and Professor of the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University. Dr James is also a retired Army Colonel and the former Chair, Department of Psychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center directing weight loss programs and conducting bariatric surgery psychological evaluation since 1994. Dr James is a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Health Psychologists and he has been seen as a national leader in the development of innovative obesity treatment programs. He is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in both clinical and clinical health psychology.

William O’Donohue, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Nevada Reno. He has published over 80 books and 300 journal articles and book chapters. His interests include quality improvement, evidence-based care, integrated care and the assessment and treatment of crime victims.

Jeanne Wendel, Ph.D. Jeanne Wendel is a professor emeritus in economics at the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Wendel earned her Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University and joined the faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1985. She has published journal articles on health economics and the economics of regulatory issues. She also has experience implementing and supporting a hospital quality improvement program.
