Mr. Daudi Nyangaresi joined Kenya Medical Training College as a junior lecturer in the Department of Community Nutrition. Prior to coming to Kenya Medical Training College, he participated in various volunteer and internship programs: Children of God Relief Institute, Ministry of Health (Mbagathi District Hospital) and Bomer Nutrition and Health Consultants. Nyangaresi received his BSc in Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Kenyatta University and is now pursuing his MSc in Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics in the same institution. Nyangaresi's teaching interests include Maternal and Child Nutrition and Health, Management of Malnutrition, Nutrition Surveillance, and Food Security. He has participated in the development of new curricula and courses during his stay at Kenya Medical Training College. His primary research interests are in the field of Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition. Specifically, he is interested in student writing, pedagogies of Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition, and the integration of research and practice. Nyangaresi resides with his family in Nairobi. In his free time, he cycles in a group of friends and watches movies afterward.
