Autorenporträt
Sandra Novello is a Children's Book author. Born in Melbourne, Australia in 1961 and graduated from the teaching College at Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1982. In the same year, she worked as an Artist in Residence at Scotch College Junior School in Hawthorn, Victoria, teaching young children Primitive Pottery and constructing a life size school boy in clay. In 1983, she taught at the senior campus of Marcellin College in Bulleen, Victoria for several years and later worked as a Casual Relief Teacher in several schools. While teaching at the Casey Grammar School in 2010, she was inspired to write her first book. After a couple of children's lunches were discovered missing or half eaten, day after day, she decided to pose as the villain and wrote a letter to the children telling them what was happening. After reading the letter and seeing the expression and delight on the children's faces every time a crow came close to their classroom, she decided to turn the letter into the book called Clive the Clever Crow. Clive's adventures continue in the sequel book, Clive the Clever Crow Where are you?
