Autorenporträt

Joe Steve Ó Neachtain was born in An Cré Dhubh in An Spidéal, Co. Galway, Ireland and still lives there. He started writing in 1969 and hasn't stopped since. A prolific writer, he has written novels, poetry, short stories, plays, sketches and songs. He holds the rare distinction of being loved by critics and public alike and has a won many awards over the years for his work including the Jacob Award for his long-running radio drama which ran on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, Baile an Droichid.
