Autorenporträt
Dr Ghayur Ayub, FRCS, is a retired surgeon who specialised in cancer surgery. He hails from the mountainous Kurram Valley in northern Pakistan. His early childhood was spent in a small village at the foot of the majestic White Mountain of the Himalayas. This instilled in him a lifelong proclivity towards nature. In his professional work as a cancer surgeon he came into contact with patients fighting for their lives. He saw a few of them who were diagnosed as being terminally ill recovered miraculously. This led him to take interest in the paranormal phenomenons and spirituality. He has published two books on the subject, titled 'Spirituality: A New Dimension' and 'Knowing the Unknown: Through Science and Sufism.' He lives with his family in London.
