This is the story of Cody the Basenji Terrier who gets adopted by K.K. the only child of Wallace. He has to work hard and worries about K.K. whose mother died when she was young. When K.K. decides she wants a puppy Wallace gives in and they bring Cody to their home. The puppy is a problem and tears things up until Wallace decides to get rid of him. K.K. learns of a doggy boot camp where bad dogs can be trained and convinces Wallace to give it a try. Cody learns to be good and finds out some interesting things about his new life.
