Autorenporträt
Dr. Jorge E. Hernández is Lecturer in Operations & Supply Chain Management at the University of Liverpool. He has a PhD in logistics and supply chain decision support systems and has won an award for his pioneering work in reverse logistics. In addition, since 2010, Dr. Hernández is Co-Coordinator of the EURO Working Group on Decision Support Systems. His research interests include collaboration in the supply chain, logistics, operational research, modelling and simulation, multi-agent systems and system dynamics. Dr. Hernández has edited numbers of books, Special Issues in International Journals and Books proceedings for international conferences and has published more than 30 peer reviewed academic papers in leading journals, chapters in collective books and in international conferences. Dr Dong Li is Associate Professor in Management School, University of Liverpool. His present research is mainly in supply chain optimisation, eco-logistics and food supply chain innovationand has focused on supply chain sustainability and green logistics. He is research grants holder for projects funded by UK Research Councils (EPSRC, TSB, ERDF) on logistics and supply chain research. His research has been extensively published in more than 50 peer reviewed papers. He is the member of the Editorial Board and guest editor of several international journals. He has been the supervisor for about 10 PhD students in recent years. Dr. José Elías Jiménez Sánchez is Head of Logistics and Multimodal Transport, Mexican Institute of Transportation. Leader of studies and projects on logistics and transport. He is Vice President of Government Liaison Mexican Association of Supply Chain & Logistics. Dr. Jimenez is the Organizing Chairman the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG 2013). He has been professor at several Mexican universities, where he taught courses on logistics and operation of transportation. Columnist in several international journals onlogistics. Speaker at Conference on Logistics and Transport. Independent Consultant and Director of public and private projects. He has 30 years of experience in the transportation sector. Dr. Miguel Gaston Cedillo-Campos is a Professor in Supply Chain Engineering at Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, Founding President of the Mexican Logistics and Supply Chain Association and former Founding Director of the Supply Chain Research and Development Center at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Currently, Dr. Cedillo-Campos is National Researcher Level 1 for the CONACYT in Mexico and Scientific Chairman for the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CiLOG 2013) organized by the Mexican Logistics and Supply Chain Association in partnership with the Mexican Institute of Transportation in 2013. Outside the university Dr. Cedillo-Campos has consulted widely for government agencies and leading manufacturing, retail and transportation enterprises all over Latin America. Dr. Luo Wenping is a Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Shanghai Maritime University in China. He holds a PhD in Logistics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, and is an executive member of the China Society of Logistics. Dr. Luo has been leading more than 20 national or provincial logistics projects sponsored by government and industry in China. He has published 10 books and more than 20 research papers in journals and was also awarded various Chinese research prizes. He is currently is the Deputy Director of the Logistics Research Center and Director of the Institute of Third Party Logistics Research.
