Autorenporträt
Born and raised in the Gambia, West Africa, from its capital city, Banjul. He grew up struggling, claiming his share of the pie among the unfortunate. Poverty had never deprived him of education, for he had a keen interest in seeking knowledge as a child. Being a smart kid, as everyone used to tell him, he manipulated his way to complete high school, by all means, which earned him the opportunity to secure a job in the highest office of the country. Growing up in the streets of "Half Die" Banjul, where life was acknowledged by its survival dramas, he stood his grounds. His respect for law and practice of reality, with a little bit of street-smart, helped him to stay out of trouble. "Life in the city can be a pity." He has a high respect for life and is very open-minded to freedom and decency for every living creature. A nature lover to an extreme and believes that life lives through nature and runs by it. "Who feels it, knows it." He came to United State at age twenty-six to pursue happiness, seeking greener pasture. In the U.S., he became a citizen, joined the workforce to earn a living. Poetry became a hobby as he intends to share with the world his feelings of bad choices in a natural life that's worth living.
