Rodney Carrington got his start from his appearances and airplay on syndicated morning radio shows like Bob and Tom and John Boy and Billy. He has five chart-topping albums and has sold over a total of two million copies. Carrington resumed touring across the country to sold out shows after wrapping his ABC TV sitcom, Rodney, which in its first year ranked in the top 50 network shows with a peak average audience of seven million viewers each week.
