Autorenporträt
First and foremost, I am an educator, and in my twenty-five years working in this profession, I have endeavored diligently to transfer my knowledge, skills, and values to my students so as to equip them with tools that will help them achieve a life of personal fulfillment and responsible citizenry. My personal educational philosophy includes the emphasis of more time-on-task. I believe that the more time spent on quality classroom instruction, the greater is the learning that takes place within that classroom. My students' academic performance and personal well-being are important to me. I strife to keep morale high and engage my students over the course of each session. However, in being an effective teacher, I am not only required to perform well in the classroom but also to conduct myself in an exemplary manner outside the classroom. For the past twenty-five years, I have worked in the field of education. My qualifications include a master's in TESOL with a specialty in phonology and a doctoral degree in educational leadership, as well as a TEFL Certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Over the years, I have held various positions in schools at home and abroad. These include that of teacher/instructor in the United States and the Middle East, head of the science departments in two schools in the United States, administrator and director positions in American colleges in Egypt, in addition to working as an educational consultant for many schools in Egypt and in the sultanate of Oman. Some notable achievements have been in conducting teacher workshops and presentations, guiding and schools in the Middle East through the American accreditation process. It is my solemn wish to contribute to the development of my institute in a substantial way, helping it to grow into one of the most reputable and sought-after higher education institutions in the region, one that turns out students who are equipped with the skills they need to successfully hold their own in the world of work. It is the ultimate honor, partnering in this most dynamic process of life.
