Autorenporträt
Jason Haynes is a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor (St Vincent and the Grenadines) and Attorney-at-Law (Barbados), who is currently employed as the Senior Legal Officer at the British High Commission, Bridgetown, Barbados. Jason obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, Barbados; the Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Nottingham, UK; and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Durham University, UK. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Authority, having previously taught law at Durham University and the UWI, Mona Campus, Jamaica. He is a former National Scholarship recipient from the State of St Vincent and the Grenadines, a former British Chevening Scholarship recipient and a former Commonwealth Scholarship recipient. He is passionate about sport in its varied forms, and previously captained the Ustinov College Cricket Club while at Durham University.

J. Tyrone Marcus is an Attorney-at-Law admitted to practice in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Barbados, an adjunct lecturer in Sports Law at UWI, St Augustine, Trinidad, a member of the NORCECA Volleyball Legal Commission, a former Board Member of the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organization (RADO) and former Senior Legal Officer at the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs in Trinidad and Tobago. He is the current President of the Trinidad and Tobago Association for Sport and Law and has been specializing in sports law since 2006, having completed in 2010 a Masters' Degree in Sports Law and Practice via distance learning with the De Montfort University in Leicester, England. He has published contemporary sports law articles for the International Bar Association, the International Sports Law Journal, the Sport and the Law Journal, the World Sports Law Report, the Law in Sport online journal and the Global Sports Law and Taxation Reports. He previously represented his secondary school and university in track and field and football and formerly played competitive tennis.
