Autorenporträt
R. G. Panneerselvam is currently working as an Associate Professor with the School of Fashion Technology at KCG College of Technology, Karapakkam, Chennai. After serving for two decades in the profession of teaching at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Salem, and for ten years in R&D activities at Weavers' Service Centres (WSC), functioning under the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), New Delhi, he retired as Director of IIHT, Varanasi. His teaching interests include Computer-aided jacquard graph designing, Woven fabric structures and analysis, Manual designing for heald, dobby, and jacquard shedding, and Woven fabric manufacture and calculations. His research areas include the development of orthogonal structures for weaving face-back-face fabrics, the use of different editing software for jacquard graph designing, and the dissemination of ergonomic weaving techniques for handloom weavers for weaving sustainable handloom fabrics.

C. Prakash is Director at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Fulia, West Bengal. He also worked as a teaching faculty in engineering colleges. He obtained his Ph.D in 2014 in Anna University, Chennai and holds B.E. and M.Tech. degrees in Textile Technology from the Pavendar Bharathidasan College, Trichy and Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. He has around 20 yrs of experience in teaching and industry. In total he published 200+ technical papers in reputed SCI, Scopus journals and conferences. He is highly interested in academic and research activities in the areas concerning Thermal comfort, Moisture Management of textile products and Effluent treatments.

P. Nagabhushanam is a retired faculty member from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Govt. of India, Ministry of Textiles, Salem, Tamil Nadu. He is currently working as a Visiting Faculty at the National Institute of Design (NID), Andhra Pradesh, and conducting classes in Basic Weaving, Advanced Weaving, Loom Mechanism, and Textile Mathematics. His teaching interests include Computer-aided jacquard graph designing, Woven fabric structures and analysis, and Designing for Heald, dobby, and jacquard shedding. He is also an expert in Woven fabric manufacturing, Cloth calculations, the development of new weave structures for weaving reversible fabrics, and ergonomic weaving techniques to weave sustainable handloom fabrics.
