Synopsis: Janice Smyth lives in New York City in a small apartment made from concrete. This in the 1800s. She is an accountant at a stone masonry company. At the office she often sketches drawings of buildings she would like to build, and not the endless lines of numbers she is supposed to be working on. She gets fired and decides that this is the time to move out west, find a partner for life as well as one who can help build her dream house. A marriage broker helps, and in a week or so, finds Janice's perfect match. He is a man in his mid thirties, strong looking, and weathered by the Western sunshine. His name is Tom Landry. After receiving a letter from Tom, she accepts, and a fews days later a train ticket and some travel money, and instructions on where to meet her arrives, and she is off on a new adventure that will surely change her life, and career.

I was born in England, but have lived in Southern California for many years. I m now retired and live in the Pacific NW in a little seaside city amongst the giant redwoods and wonderful harbor, almost at the Oregon border. My husband and I have one cat, called Midnight and she is featured in two of my latest Sci-Fi short stories. I love Science Fiction, animals, and trying to help others.
