This book facilitates the study of different topics in Condensed Matter Physics with the necessary concepts and techniques. It also connects modern experimental discoveries with theoretical advancements that have been developed over the years in a pedagogical manner. Autorenporträt

Saurabh Basu is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He carries out research in the field of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, with a focus on graphene, topological insulators and ultracold atoms. He obtained his PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, before undertaking a post-doctoral fellowship at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), India and at Queens University, Canada. He has published over 130 research articles and has been a contributor for edited volumes published by CRC Press and World Scientific.
