"Judgments and Conversations" is the main book of Confucianism and, perhaps, of all Chinese culture. For many centuries, this treatise was considered compulsory for memorization in classical education. In addition, it is the greatest literary monument, a pearl of the ancient Chinese language and philosophy. Confucius is one of the most prominent personalities in Chinese and world history. His doctrine, which was widespread after the death of the philosopher, became the state ideology of China and acquired the status of religion, and from the beginning of the new era, Confucius himself began to be revered as a prophet and demigod. The foundations of Confucianism are outlined by the thinker's students in a collection of aphorisms, dialogues and notes, called "Judgments and Conversations (Lun-yu)".
