In ConsumerismTrap & Treasure, author Rose Muraguri explores the definition of consumerism and its historical origins. The book highlights consumerism as a driver of economy progression for countries. The author looks at the negative impact of consumerism on family budgets and explores methods families can use to deflect the effects.
