Laws related to prevention of contagious diseases are talked and used nowadays than ever due to COVID-19 pandemic. These laws are commonly called as 'quarantine laws' and 'lock-down laws' by general public. Sri Lanka is one of countries which has a strong such law which is more than a century old. Knowledge of these laws is very important to general public, law enforcing officers, legislators and law students of not only Sri Lanka but also across the globe. This book critically analyses and describes the existing Sri Lankan law on contagious diseases prevention.
