This book is about my last eight years as a pastor in a mainline Christian denominational church and the difficulties that I faced while trying to carry out my duties as a pastor to the congregations that I served. I will attempt to show the difficulties that, I felt, mainly came from my clergy colleagues and the leadership of these denominations. With the contradiction of being told by the clergy that I was coming into the conference under the radar, it was like saying that I was sneaking in through the back door while others came in the correct waythrough the front door. Then there was finding out about the sale of a church building for over a quarter of a million and its investment that was done without proper authorization; the huge, unexplained losses; the unwillingness of the clergy leadership to investigate; and not being reappointed after eight years of service and how it affected me and my sick daughter and our complete welfare.

About the Author I was born and raised in the Midwest with three older sisters. My father was a Baptist minister and worked a secular job as a butcher. But I was mainly raised by my mother, who was the most devout one in our household. I was educated in the local public school system. I completed a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Masters of Divinity. My hobbies include reading, walking, playing basketball and baseball, and traveling. I love to listen to Gospel and classical music. I love to go to university lectures.
