Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad is an MCKK-Cambridge and Harvard-educated writer, public intellectual and founding Chairman of Institut Kajian Politik dan Ekonomi (IKAPE). He was Special Envoy to the United Nations (1996-2000) and Editor-in-Chief/Executive Director of the New Straits Times group of newspapers until November 2003. He lives alternately in Kuala Lumpur and London with his wife. He compiled and authored Dr Mahathir's Selected Letters to World Leaders Vols 1 and 2.
