Dotti Enderle launched her publishing career in 1995, writing for such popular children's magazines as Babybug, Ladybug, Children's Playmate, Nature Friend, Turtle, and many more. Ms. Enderle is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Houston Storytellers Guild, the Writers League of Texas, the American Book Cooperative, and Women Writing the West. She currently lives with her husband, two teenage daughters, and a cat named Oliver. Chuck Galey is the owner of Chuck Galey Illustration. He majored in graphic design and graduated from Mississippi State University. He contributes to magazines, corporations, and advertising clients nationwide and has illustrated more than thirty books, including My Brother Dan's Delicious, SantaSaurus, and Jazz Cats, a 2002 International Reading Association/Children's Book Council Children's Choices selection, also available from Pelican.
