About the author Emmanuel Tyokumbur teaches Zoology at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a BSc degree in Zoology from the University of Jos (1992), MSc Ecology and Environmental Biology from the University of Ibadan (1998), Certificate of Participation (Abdus Salam ICTP, Trieste Italy) and Diploma in Medical Ethics (2015) from the Norwegian Medical Association, Norway. He has published over 30 journal articles in reputable journals in Australia, Nigeria, United Kingdom and the United States of America. He has attended conferences and workshops on virtually all the continents of the world. In addition, he has published three books on environmental biology and health, ecology and sustainable resource use that includes; Practising Ecology: Chances and Choices, Environmental Practices for Human Well-Being and Reflections on Ecology and Society. He is a member of several learned societies worldwide and a reviewer/ editorial member of high impact journals around the world. Mr Emmanuel is a mentor and public affairs analyst.
