But doubt did not stop me, but it only nourished the charm of the research. I would dive headfirst into their lives and literally loved them, trying to see through their eyes. I didn't want to just go through their drawers, I wanted to understand the limitations that society imposed on them at the time, to put flesh and blood on the paper figures of the front pages. I chose the most influential couples, the most intense to cover the history of Greece from 1821 to the junta. Men from time to time are protagonists, but women of their lives are also important, burning faces. I hope you'll enjoy as much as I enjoyed that acrobatic experience between history and literature.
