With 20 years of life science industry experience across research and clinical markets, Dale Yuzuki is a well-known thought-leader in genomics and the author of The Next Generation Technologist blog. He has worked for several leading companies in genetics, including Illumina and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Before his career in the life sciences, Dale taught high school biology and chemistry, as well as English as a Second Language courses overseas. In 2015, as a global scientific affairs specialist, he was the popular face of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Behind the Bench blog and the #LabChat video series; on YouTube, he's offered over 75 videos highlighting the groundbreaking research of leading scientists worldwide.

He has a Master's degree in education from UCLA and a second Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University, and lives in Greater Bethesda, Maryland with his spouse and three children.
