Duchess Quin arranges with Will and his group to get Big Tom back in prison. Adrian is willing to join them in the quest. He thinks that way, he'd get his freedom to love Gary freely again, even though it has been a rollercoaster ride for both of them. Oliver traces Adrian to Kansas and brings him home. Bill informs the others once Adrian's GPS comes back on, and they sneak up on Big Tom's safe house totally unaware of the surprise waiting for them.
Evelyn's POV
I am worried that my father might mess up our plan to attack Big Tom. He has been spending long hours with the Duchess, and she doesn't seem like a good influence, but we have to trust my father and give him a chance to redeem himself. Striking a deal with Adrian doesn't exactly seem 'wise', and while they prepare to ambush and arrest Big Tom, I am afraid that something will go wrong, as usual.
Will's POV
I am recovering fine, I think, but the thought of Bill being in charge of our plans and safety is troubling. Hearing that he hit on the dangerous Duchess Quin, and might have slept with her, does not help me build trust in him. I meet a new Bill that I have never seen before, the Roger Monster of the mob. When I spy on him, he catches me, and after a little conversation, I begin to believe he could redeem us. When Adrian joins us, I fear that we might be double-crossed. Adrian, however, keeps his end of the bargain, leading us to his father's safe house. I hate to be left behind in the car while the main action plays out, which is why I tail the party, expecting to see the anguish on Big Tom's face when he's arrested. Instead, I watch an explosion as the party nears the safe house.
