Autorenporträt

Originally from An Rinn Gaeltacht, Ógie completed his primary and secondary education in An Rinn before going on to UCC where he graduated with honours in 2005. He has won a number of awards while in University for drama and writing, including the Micil Óg Uí Longáin literary prize in 2005. In 2010 he was collecting awards again, this time from Oireachtas na Gaeilge. Cúpla, a fast-paced story for teens, is his first novel, however, he has previously published textbooks for Junior Certificate students.
