Autorenporträt
Ken Burton has been working with wood professionally since 1984. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Woodworking and Furniture Design from the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Currently, Burton operates Windy Ridge Woodworks, focusing on the design and construction of studio furniture and custom cabinetry. This is coupled with the teaching of woodworking workshops and the writing of woodworking books and articles. During the school year, Burton is department leader for the Technology Education Program at Boyertown Area Senior High School. He also teaches at the Yestermorrow School in Warren, Vermont, Peters Valley Craft Center in Layton, New Jersey, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He is the author of Table Saw Projects with Ken Burton (Popular Woodworking); Maximize Your Router Skills with Ken Burton (Popular Woodworking) and Cutting Edge Band Saw Tips & Tricks (Popular Woodworking).
