Autorenporträt
Valerie Freeman joined the staff at Johnson & Wales University in August 2008 and is the liaison for the College of Business. Valerie has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

She participates in teaching information literacy classes, assists in cataloging, manages student workers, and coordinates service desks. She is a member of the American Library Association and North Carolina Library Association, in addition to the Metrolina Library Association, where she has served on the Board of Directors for five years. She is co-author of the book Personal Librarian: Enhancing the Student Experience.
