Hilary Collins is a senior academic with the University of the West of Scotland, UK. Initially graduating in Interior Design and Architecture her career focussed on designing commercial environments before setting up and managing design businesses in the UK, France, and the Middle East. Hilary has a PhD in Strategic Design Management from the University of Strathclyde, UK. Within her academic career she specialised in curriculum development within the creative industries and has created courses and programs for universities in the UK, France and the United States. She researches both on academic identity and within the field of creativity with creative facilitation and its value to strategy.
